Production Graphic Artist

Jobs Skills & Qualifications: 

  • A degree in Graphic Design or related field. Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted if on an equivalent basis

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

​

  • Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated drive for success

​

  • Strong organization skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at once

​

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Ability to effectively use Network, Internet and E: mail communication systems and multiple software systems and in-house production system

Job Responsibilities:​

​

  • Create designs, logos, and branding artwork that will be used for a variety of uses, including screen-printing, embroidery, promotional, print and digital purposes. Designs will range in scope from basic 1 color designs to, in some cases, elaborate and detailed full color works of art.

 

  • Collaborate with internal sales teams and our customers at times to determine customer design requirements, marketing and branding goals, customer preferences, and budgetary requirements.

 

  • Using client ideas, create designs that meet and surpass expectations.

 

  • Work efficiently through high volumes, meeting tight deadlines within established budgets.

 

  • Propose creative concept elements for potential and new projects

 

  • Make corrections and modifications to client proofs as requested

 

  • Prepare client proofs for approval

 

  • Learn job tracking system and assist in managing projects

 

  • Demonstrate the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines

 

  • Assist in project and/or client customer needs

 

  • Stay current on graphic trends through continued education, trade shows, seminars, special courses, etc.

  • Have an ability to create for different artistic styles and industry groups, including athletics and corporate.   

 

  • Creation of art proofs for all customer orders and the facilitation of these proofs through the production process as they are used in various sales orders.     Will work extensively in our production software and with other production departments to add/update designs, document variations to existing designs, update back-end files, etc.            
     

  • Attend morning sales meetings as it relates to design needs.       
     

  • Work closely with marketing department to help create sales and marketing visuals, website content, etc. 
     

  • Aid in the creative process for development of artwork ideas for customer projects.
