Outside Sales Representative- Custom Apparel & Promotional Products
 

Designs Unlimited is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow customer relationships across corporate, school, athletic, and organizational markets.
 

​This is a hands-on sales role that combines relationship management, project ownership, and solution-based selling in a highly custom environment. Sales representatives guide customer projects from concept through completion while working closely with internal sales support and production teams.

Our sales reps own customer relationships and projects from idea through delivery. We sell thousands of custom products, so success requires curiosity, follow-through, and a willingness to learn systems, products, and production processes.

• Are comfortable with a give-and-take work rhythm during busy and slower seasons
• Want autonomy, variety, and long-term customer relationships
 

This role is not a fit if you are looking for:
• A transactional, order-taking sales role
• A rigid, clock-only schedule
 

This is not a traditional “sell it and hand it off” sales role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer relationships
• Develop new business opportunities
• Own customer projects from initial idea through final delivery
• Research products, prepare quotes, and present solutions
• Coordinate with sales support staff and internal teams
• Learn and use industry-specific software and online platforms
• Communicate proactively to manage timelines and expectations
• Resolve issues by understanding details and collaborating on solutions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or customer-facing experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working in a detail-heavy, custom environment
• Willingness to learn systems, products, and production workflows
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
 

What We Offer

• Base salary of $45,000-$60,000, dependent on experience, + unlimited bonus potential based on company performance and personal sales results.
